The 32nd Global Regional Intelligence Liaison Office (RILO) Meeting (GRM) brought together the 12 RILOs at WCO Headquarters in Brussels to address key Customs enforcement challenges. The RILO Network plays a vital role in intelligence sharing, risk assessment, and international cooperation in the fight against illicit trade.

  •  A major focus was on enhancing RILO performance evaluation by introducing accountability measures and performance indicators.

  •  Updates on Customs enforcement operations showcased progress in tackling various illicit trafficking activities.

A key highlight was the participation of the European Union Drugs Agency (EUDA), which provided insights into strengthening international partnerships and intelligence-sharing efforts to combat drug trafficking more effectively.

The GRM also covered the latest developments on the Customs Enforcement Network communication platform (CENComm), designed to improve secure and efficient information exchange among Customs administrations and Law Enforcement agencies worldwide.
